Property Details
Willow Point Beach House was the first building to be built on the Kootenay lake. It was initially a farm, then a shop and garage lastly a B&B. The old packing shed on the property was used to pack up and can the fruit from the surrounding orchards. Later converted into a home for the shop owners. The main building was burnt down in 1953 and rebuilt to accommodate a larger shop.
The sheriff of Nelson bought the property in the 60,s he added the upper floor and turned the shop into a home. Later into a B&B. The present owners have since renovated it to modern standards.
The suites are separate to the owners accommodation with their own entrance and patio deck.
Use of canoes and fire pit to roast marshmallows on an evening. BBQ AREA.5 miles from town
