Finca de las Rosas was designed to offer a very well equipped and modern home set in stunning countryside. Peaceful and tranquil Finca de las Rosas sleeps 8 has its own private pool, barbecue, air conditioning, open fire and under floor heating that adds up to offering all year round comfortable holiday accommodation.
The villa benefits from easy access to the resorts of the Costa del Sol and the inland destinations of Ronda, Granada, Sevilla, Cordoba and the Sierra Nevada. Andalucia is a year round travel destination and the area surrounding Alora is especially suited to those seeking to explore the natural parks of El Chorro, Torcal and Ardales (the Malaga lake district).

Andalucia is at the Southern point of Spain and includes the popular package holiday destination of the Costa del Sol where amongst many others the seaside towns of Torremolinos and Fuengirola are found. English is spoken widely here and there are many attractions including waterparks and a Zoo. However, travel inland to our locality and much of this commercialism is left behind yet still very accesible. Further inland can be explored the fascintaing towns and cities such as Granada, Sevilla, Ronda, Jerez, Cordoba and the ski resort of the Sierra Nervada. With over 300 days of sunshine a year and a pleasant average winter temperature Andalucia makes a great place to visit anytime of year.

The benefit found by so many who holiday in our area is that they have the best of both worlds – on the one hand the peace and tranquility of the countryside; minutes from a small Spanish town that retains its friendliness and traditions and on the other the convenience and proximity of being within 45 minutes of the Costa del Sol or making excursions to the many towns, cities and Natural parks of Andalucia.

Alora itself makes a refreshing change from the heavily populated coastal resorts. It has a number of fiestas throughout the year including the spectacular Easter processions. A huge event in Alora, a spectacle to see, the “Despedia” a celebration declared to be on of National interest for tourism which takes place in the Plaza Baja starting at mid day on Good Friday. During this evening Alora is bathed in special light, the aroma of incense, and a sense of excitement only being here can truly express. With numerous processions through the streets music is provided by the soldiers of the Spanish legion and Parachute Brigade.

Alora also has a selection of restaurants, tapas bars, an open air public swimming pool, theatre and railway station that directly links to Malaga, many local shops and a well stocked supermarket.

Around Alora including our villa wildlife is in abundance and landscapes as dramatic as they are diverse. Within a short drive of Alora are the giant rock faces of the Natural Park of El Chorro, the lakes of Ardales (the 'Malaga Lake District'), El Torcal with its 200 million year old rock formations. A number of business are keen to offer activities within this setting from horse riding to mountain biking and rock climbing.

All bookings include a generous welcome pack including wines, beer, bacon, eggs, cheese, milk, sugar, tea, coffee, bread, mineral water, soft drinks, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets.

Additional Rate and Deposit Information

Easter weekend and Christmas add extra 100 GBP. Minimum booking 1 week. On approval of a booking we ask for a 30% deposit with the full balance payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. We accept cheque, bank transfer, credit card via PayPal and Paypal. If using PayPal we regret that we must pass the 3.5% surcharge onto you. We also require a £275 deposit to cover damage which is returned within 14 days of the end of your stay.
