Due to a number of problems with the house (including flooding due to a defective water pump etc.) and other major problems, we are attempting to get mailing addresses and phone numbers for these individuals.
Neither the alleged owner or the agent (who listed you as a reference) were available to resolve our complaints during our stay at the house listed in the subject section of this email. Nor have they resolved our concerns since we left. The rental agent has declined to speak with us by telephone, provide us with an actual mailing address (which I see that you do) or to provide this information about the owners so we can attempt to resolve this issue. Today, before making inquiries with the local police, Interpol and US law enforcement authorities, we thought we might verify if these individuals actually exist by contacting you. We spoke with a woman who identified herself as the house manager but she says she only has a cell number for the two owners which she declines to provide to us. If you can be of any assistance please contact us here or at my phone number in the US, 301-523-4407. We are offering rewards for any information that will help us confirm/disconfirm the identities of the owner of this property and their physical address and/true telephone numbers. In fairness I should note this information will be passed on to the appropriate legal authorities and shared with the media (since one of our guests is an executive for a television station in the US) as we try to locate these individuals.
