Florida offers a variety of vacation homes for snowbirds

Florida is a haven for snow birds from December thru March. Many vacation homes require a 1 to 3 month rental during the winter months. If you are looking for a weekly vacation rental make sure to plan early as availability is limited! Whether you are looking for a Florida condo, home or villa, all properties are rented directly through the owner or through a vacation rental property manager. Property managers will tend to have more selection and standardized processes, whereas a rental by owner will usually offer a better price and flexibility with dates.

When choosing which part of Florida to spend the winter months remember the panhandle can still get pretty cold, especially at night. Areas like Fort Myers Beach and Naples on average are 11-15 degrees warmer during the day than areas like Panama City Beach and Destin. Going even further south into Miami or the Florida Keys doesn't offer any temperature advantages over Fort Myers or Miami, even though you'll spend another seven hours on the road. Enjoy Florida it's a beautiful state with tons of great vacation rentals!
